Singapore is receptive to arts, culture and its progenies. A lot of Arts Schools abound Singapore. There are many platforms for the artists to showcase their talents. The infrastructure in the country enhances travel and the public transport connects one end of Singapore to another.
All these encourages young talents and as a result, there are quality programs taking place in Singapore. Traditional Music of Tanjore, a Music School run by the renowned Music Teacher Mrs Gowri Gokul, each year conducts Guru Vandanam in tribute to the Music Doyen, Sree T.M.Thiyagarajan. In this all the students of the school participate and receive certificates.
This year, one of the students of the school Mrs Soundara Nayaki Vairavan released her Music Album ‘Vocal Songs Six’. It was released by Mr Vikram Nair, a Member of Parliament of Singapore. The first copy was received by Dr K.Vellayappan, Singapore’s one of the leading Pediatricians and the Chairman, Sree Sreenivasa Perumal Temple, Singapore.
The event took place this July 27th at Sree Thendayuthapani Temple, Wedding Hall, in the morning. It was attended by Music Lovers and the representatives of various Indian Organisations of Singapore.
Global Organisation of the people of Indian Origin, Singapore, honored Mrs Vairavan with a bouquet and a shawl.
