Thali Sweet – April 1st, 2009
Ingredients
Coconut 100 gms
Maida 50 gms
Grated cashewnuts 30 gms
Butter 100 gms
Powdered sugar 100 gms
Rava 30 gms
Eggs 2
Baking powder tsp
Vanilla/ almond essence tsp
Cardamom 2 (powder)
Method
Beat and cream butter and sugar, then add egg yolk and again cream well. Add in maida, baking powder and rava to it. Add the grated and ground coconut,( grind in blender without water), then the cashewnuts (grind in blender not very fine) and cardamom powder. Lastly , add the stiffly beaten egg white. Add essence. Pour into a greased thali and bake for about an hour in an oven.(150 dc to 175dc)
