‘P.Chidambaram – Oru Paarvai’ – A book on the Indian Finance Minister – February 6th, 2013
The very first book on the Indian Finance Minister Mr P.Chidambaram ‘P.Chidambaram – Oru Paarvai’ was released on the December 29th, 2012 at Kamarajar Arangam Chennai. Dravidar Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) President and the former Chief Minister for Tamil Nadu, Dr Kalaingar Karunanidhi released the book and the first copy was received by the mother of the Finance Minister Smt Lakshmi Achi. Mr P.Chidambaram, is an illustrious lawyer, renowned economist, enticing orator and a man with austerity, sincerity and discipline. The author of the book Mr Illakiya Nadarajan has to be lauded for his efforts in collating various luminaries that counts to seventy of them ranging from grass root workers from the Minister’s constituency, his legal colleagues to prominent political figures, speak on their ideas and experiences with the Minister. The book gives an insight into the fine details of the Minister like his punctuality, respect for others, loyalty, his passion for Tamil and English literature, his impeccable memory and many more.
His illustrious family background and his Overseas educational qualifications are the other most pronounced ideas of the book. This book the product of the ‘Chidambaram Illakiya Peravai’ demonstrates a P.Chidambaram that none can figure out by surfing the net.
