The Singapore Tamil Youths’ Club (STYC) in association with SINDA and SIET is promoting the enrolment of Singaporean Indian students to study in Japan at the Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU). The University and its degrees provide the following benefits
❖ Tuition fee grants to Singaporean Indian students endorsed by SINDA. Based on the student’s past achievements (both academic, social and cultural achievements) students will get from 30% to 100% tuition fee waiver. Annually, Ten such scholarships are given.

❖ All courses at the College of International Management and the College Asia Pacific Studies are taught in English. Students learn Japanese as a subject at the same time to become fluent during the four years of study for the bachelor’s degree.

❖ Students can choose from two courses: Bachelor of Social Sciences (College of Asia Pacific Studies) or Bachelor of Business Administration (College of International Management)

❖ The degrees will allow the student to continue their studies at any university in Japan or anywhere in the world including Singapore.

❖ Japanese language fluency will allow the student to get a job in Japan or across the region at the managerial level with Japanese corporations and businesses.

❖ For those who need financial assistance, SINDA and SIET will provide interest-free study loans that become payable after they begin working.

On the 16th September 2018, at 10 -00 am, Professor Yuichi Kondo, Admissions Officer at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University and Professor Emeritus, Dr A. Veeramani,  who was the founding professor of APU and who had worked for 18 years at the University will do a presentation on the above at the SINDA Auditorium.
