SINDA’s Project Give 2018

Project Give (PG), SINDA’s flagship fundraising event, has been held since 2001 to raise funds for the educational and financial needs of the Indian community. PG runs throughout the year, but is heightened during the Deepavali season to allow the community to remember the less fortunate during the festive period.

Over the years, PG has evolved to be an awareness campaign for SINDA and to show the impact it has upon the Indian community. The 2018 campaign focuses on greater engagement of the Indian community and the associated stakeholders, and informs them on SINDA’s programmes, impact and successes. The objectives of the PG 2018 campaign are:

Primary Objective

To increase awareness among the community on SINDA’s programmes and services.

Secondary Objective

To offer Singaporeans, particularly those from the Indian community, an opportunity to express their generosity during the festive season.

SINDA’s Project Give Booth

The booth was in operation from 3 October 2018 till 4 November 2018 at Campbell Lane, Little India. It served as a platform to engage with families and parents to introduce them to SINDA’s programmes and services and encourage enrolment. This year, activities were conducted at the booth for the duration of its operation, in celebration of the Deepavali spirit.
