Mushroom Pullav – October 5th, 2011
INGREDIENTS
Basmati Rice-3 Cups
Onions – 3
Mushroom – 100gms
Chilly powder – 2tea spoon
Jeera Powder – 1 tea spoon
Garam Masala – 1tea spoon
Lime Juice – 2 table spoon
Salt – To taste
Corriander powder – 1 tea spoon
TEMPERING
Jeera – 1/2tea spoon
Oil – 4 table spoon
Ghee – 1 table spoon
Cinnamon – 1 piece
METHOD
Soak the rice for half an hour.
Cook the rice, till the rice grains are seperated.
Peel and slice the onions.
Cut the mushroom and keep it aside.
Heat oil, ghee, zeera, cinnamon and onion.
Fry on a low flame until golden brown.
Then add the mushroom and the masalas.
Fry for few minutes.
Now add rice, salt and lime juice.
Mix well & leave on low flame till hot.
Bring down the flame and serve hot.
