World renowned musicians are coming together to enthrall the audiences to celebrate the legacy of the late Maestro musician Padmashri U.Shrinivas on the occasion of his 50th birth anniversary.
Arte Compass is dedicated in its efforts to bring world class musicians like U. Rajesh (Mandolin), Purbayan Chatterjee (Sitar), Ustad Fazal Qureshi (Tabla), Stephen Devassy (Keyboard), Pete Lockett (Drums) along with Vijay Prakash (Vocals) to create a memorable evening in memory of the late musician Mandolin Srinivas, ‘The MANdolin & beyond …2019 on Saturday 2nd March 2019 at 7:30 pm at the premier art venue, Esplanade Concert Hall.
In our continuous endeavor to promote performing arts in Singapore, and following the phenomenal success of the first three editions in celebration of the legacy, ‘The MANdolin & beyond…2019’ is an annual tribute to the MAN who continues to inspire us. This marks a significant year as we are celebrating the 50th Birth Anniversary of Late Padmashri U. Shrinivas.
Arte Compass in association with Shrinivas Institute of World Musiqu (SIOWM) and supporting partner Agrocorp International are pleased to present the 4th edition of The MANdolin & Beyond…2019. We are also thankful for the support extended by the High Commission of India, Singapore.
This 2019 edition will be an evening of vocal and instrumental Classical, Contemporary & Fusion concert by an ensemble of world class musicians who are coming together to pay their tribute to the genius who remain in the hearts of the many across the globe who have been touched by his soulful music.
Our efforts in keeping the legacy alive is further strengthened by our collaboration with SIOWM under the guidance of his brother U. Rajesh who would be performing with musicians who have collaborated with the late Mandolin Shrinivas.
